What I want for xmas...

I tend to start my list early because my nana starts asking like in July. The woman shops year round.

My grandparents are finally taking this photography "thing" I do a bit seriously. I think it's time I ask for a Nikon that I AM IN LOVE WITH.

VOTE!

I voted.

OBAMA!

I pretty much voted no on every prop except prop 7. It's the way of the future. We either get on board or we will be left in the dust. Every other prop would bankrupt the state.

oh and HELLL NO. on prop 8.

I wrote my own name in for my choice as county supervisor. Why? Because I can't stand my choices. Muahahaha.

Happy voting day!

A Recap of sorts

I don't know how to put into words what has been happenning the last couple of months. How quickly life can change.

Our office had a family tragedy a few weeks ago. I am still so stunned by it- I don't know if I can even type it. So- for now, just google "Richmond police officer, bradley moody" and the story should come up. I'm still trying to comprehend such a loss to a young beautiful loving family.
In response to my Alzhiemer's post- yes, my grandma was diagnosed some time ago. My plans have changed due to this. I am not moving to Utah for some time. I will be here for my nana for as long as she wants me to stay. She has asked that I stay until she pretty much can't remember who I am lol If you know me, you know how extremely close I am with my grandparents. They are the most important thing in my life. I am lost without them.

My best friend's mother was taken to the ER on Saturday. She had a couple of heart attacks. Her mom is like a mom to me. I can't even type the scenarios that have been running in my head....... but she is okay now.

Other then the gloom and doom of my life- life has been going pretty well.
Babysitting is going well. Still having a blast.
Work is going amazingly well.

Carolina and I at the pumpkin patch/corn maze
KK and I the day of brad's funeral- I watched the kids so the parents could go.

Alzheimer's

Alzheimer's disease (AD), also called Alzheimer disease or simply Alzheimer's, is the most common form of dementia. This incurable, degenerative, and terminal disease was first described by German psychiatrist Alois Alzheimer in 1901. Generally it is diagnosed in people over 65 years of age,[1] although the less-prevalent early-onset Alzheimer's can occur much earlier.
Although each sufferer experiences Alzheimer's in a unique way, there are many common symptoms. The earliest observable symptoms are often mistakenly thought to be 'age-related' concerns, or manifestations of stress. In the early stages, the most commonly recognised symptom is memory loss, such as difficulty in remembering recently learned facts. When a doctor or physician has been notified, and AD is suspected, the diagnosis is usually confirmed with behavioural assessments and cognitive tests, often followed by a brain scan if available.[5] As the disease advances, symptoms include confusion, irritability and aggression, mood swings, language breakdown, long-term memory loss, and the general withdrawal of the sufferer as their senses decline.[4][6] Gradually, bodily functions are lost, ultimately leading to death.[7] Individual prognosis is difficult to assess, as the duration of the disease varies. AD develops for an indeterminate period of time before becoming fully apparent, and it can progress undiagnosed for years.

The mean life expectancy following diagnosis is approximately seven years.[8] Fewer than three percent of individuals live more than fourteen years after diagnosis.

Utah, again!

I took a four day weekend 25th-28th and drove out to Utah.

A few notes:

-Nevada is probably the most useless state ever. Whoever we won it from- we should give it back. Or even better...take it away. It would make Utah a lot closer.

- When driving 12 hours- car games are fun to do such as :

Name that station- country or christian?

When the town sign says "no services"- guess the amount of trailers in said town

- I don't think Nevada has discovered radio yet

-My bestest friend Katie is the coolest person ever, even when she gets a ticket. STUPID RADAR PLANES.

- To the person standing behind me when I was at subway in Carlin, Nevada : You were creepy and your singing wigged me out. WHY WERE YOU HUMMING?!?

I spent the night in Provo with family and in Logan with friends. I love Logan and plan to move there. Callie even made me a sign! I also went to my first Rodeo- I got to see baby animals. How could my trip get any better? AGGIE ICE CREAM.

I will upload a few stories and some more photos later this week.

I have about 50 emails to respond to and naps to take and TIVO shows to catch up on. Oh and play WoW.

I miss my friends already. Me moving is becomming a reality.
